The Vision

UNO Digital Bank was founded with a simple yet ambitious vision: to make banking accessible to every Filipino, regardless of their location or financial status.

2021

BSP License

We received our digital banking license from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, becoming one of the first digital banks in the Philippines.

2022

Launch & Growth

We launched our mobile app and welcomed our first 100,000 customers, proving that digital banking could work for Filipinos.

2023

Expansion

We expanded our services to include loans, insurance, and international transfers, reaching 500,000 customers nationwide.

2024

Innovation

Serving over 1 million customers, we continued to innovate with AI-powered features and expanded financial services, disbursing over ₱8 billion in loans by year-end.

2025

Recognition & Scale

Won Best Embedded Finance Offering at The Digital Banker Awards and Philippines Digital Experience of the Year at the Asian Experience Awards. Reached 4 million customers — with 15% opening their very first bank account through UNO.

2026

Operating Break-Even

Now

Achieved operating break-even in February 2026 — a defining milestone after just four years. The active loan book is on track to exceed ₱10 billion by year-end, with full P&L profitability in sight.
